Description

Benjamin Island is located off E shore of Favorite Channel, 25 mi. NW of Juneau, Coast Mts. 1.5 miles long.

History

Named in 1880 by CAPT. L. A. Beardslee, U.S. Navy (USN), who visited the area that year.
