Description
Located along the Severn River, 2.9 km (1.8 mi) southwest of Hackett Point and 3.2 km (2 mi) east southeast of Annapolis. (US-T121)
History
Named for Nicholas Greenberry (c 1627-1697), Governor of Maryland from 1693 to 1694. The area was occupied by Puritans from Virginia in the middle 17th century. Today the site is a US Navy facility and part of the "ship to shore" communications complex for the Atlantic Fleet. (US-T121)
