Flows east to the Severn River and the Chesapeake Bay at Annapolis.
History
One theory suggests that this stream was named to promote the popular bathhouses along the stream in the late 1700s and early 1800s. Another theory suggests that the stream was named for the proclaimed medicinal qualities in the waters. (US-T121)
