Description
California Creek is located flows NE to Yankee Creek near its confluence with Innoko River, 8 mi. SE of Ophir and 25 mi. NW of McGrath, Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts. 3.6 miles long.
History
Prospectors' name obtained in 1933 by J. B. Mertie, Jr. (in Smith, P. S., 1936, pl. 4), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
