Description
Ganes Creek is located heads in Beaver Mts., flows NE to Innoko River, 4 mi. SE of Ophir and 28 mi. NW of McGrath, Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts. 35 miles long.
History
Prospectors' name reported in 1908 by Maddren (1910, p. 21), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), for "Thomas Gane, who with three others discovered gold here in 1906."
