Description
Ulinoi Island is located in Redoubt Bay, 9 mi. SW of Sitka, on W coast of Baranof I., Alex. Arch.
History
Named in 1809 by the Russian navigator, Ivan Vasiliev the first; published by Lieutenant Sarichev (1826, map 19), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN) as "O(strov) Ulinnoy" or "Ulinnoy Island."
