Marsh Bay is located at S end of Redoubt Lake, 0.4 mi. NE of Goddard on western Baranof I., Alex. Arch.
History
the 1848 Russian Hydrographic Dept. Chart 1397 applied the name "Zaliv Klyuchevoy" to a bay on the coast about two miles to the southwest. In 1880 the British Admiralty translated the Russian name as "Marsh Bay," but misapplied it to this feature. Subsequent maps have followed the British Admi raly application.
