Description
Cloverleaf Island is located one of Castle Is., in Duncan Canal, 13 mi. SW of Petersburg, on S coast of Kupreanof I., Alex. Arch. 0.6 mile long.
History
Local name reported in 1933 by R. H. Sargent, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), so named because "the outline of this island suggests a clover leaf."
