Description
Bordered on the S by Angmakrok Creek and on the N by the Ipewik River, just N of Angmakrok Mountain and 17.5 mi NE of Cape Thompson, Arctic Slope.
History
Eskimo name reported to mean "tail of a whale." Reported in 1960 by D. C. Foote, Project Chariot. He spelled it "Saukpeek."
