Description
Flows NNE through Saligvik Valley, to the Kukpuk River, 1.9 mi SW of Angmakrok Mountain and 13.4 mi NE of Cape Thompson, Arctic Slope.
History
Eskimo name reported in 1962 by personnel of Project Chariot as "Saleekvik." It was reported to mean "dodge an arrow" by W. O. Pruitt, University of Alaska.
