Heads 2.3 mi NE of Cape Thompson, flows NNE to the Kukpuk River, 3 mi W of Angmakrok Mountain and 13 mi NE of Cape Thompson, Arctic Slope. 13 miles long.
History
Eskimo name referring to the "death struggle of an animal" recorded in by W. O. Pruitt, Univ of Alaska, who spelled it "Eelikrak."
