Description
Flows SW between Angmakrok and Kayaksak Mts. to the Kukpuk River 1.5 mi SE of Angmakrok Mountain and 15.3 mi NE of Cape Thompson, Arctic Slope. 3.5 miles long.
History
Eskimo name reported in 1962 by W. O. Pruitt, University of Alaska, as "ahneeyouyahktuvik" meaning a place where the wind has hardened the snow such that it may be used for building a snow house.
