Description
Canoe Creek is located flows NE from May Lake to Ayiyak River, at Hatbox Mesa, 50 mi. NW of Anaktuvuk Pass, Arctic Slope. 7.5 miles long.
History
Named about 1950 by W. W. Patton, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) for the canoe-shaped hills in the vicinity.
