Description
Canoe Hills is located between Canoe Creek and Ayiyak River, 46 mi. NW of Anaktuvuk Pass, Arctic Slope. 6 miles long.
History
Named in 1949 by W. W. Patton, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), "for the canoe-shape of the anticline."
