Description

Another River is located heads in lake, 1.7 mi. N of Merrill Pass, flows SE to Igitna River, 1 mi. NW of Kenibuna Lake and 63 mi. NW of Tyonek, Alaska Range; 13 miles long.

History

So named by S. R. Capps and R. H. Sargent, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in 1927, "because of the many new rivers discovered in this area."
