Description
The Tusk is located in Anoth River basin, 6.5 mi. SW of Kenibuna Lake and 69 mi. W of Tyonek, Alaska Range
History
So named in 1928 by S. R. Capps and Gerald FitzGerald, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), because of "the tusk-like appearance of the glaciated granite pinaacle."
