Description
Dahl is located on Kenai Peninsula, NE shore of Lower Summit lake, 16 mi. S of Sunrise, Chugach Mts.
History
Former mining camp located along Canyon Creek; named for Dahl placer mine. Recent U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) maps indicate a site with three buildings. A post office was established here in 1905 and was discontinued in 1913 (Ricks, 1965, p 16).
