Description
Summit Lake is located on Kenai Peninsula, along Canyon Creek, 34 mi. N of Seward, Chugach Mts. 258 acres in size. Maximum depth is 70 feet. Volume is 10,729 acre feet. Shoreline length is 3.3 miles.

Local name reported in 1912 by Grant and Higgins (1913, pl. 1), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Name derived from nearby Summit Creek.
