Description
Located on the NE side of Bear Cove, 2.2 km (1.4 mi) S of Chugachik Island.
History
Named for Theodore "Ted" Pedersen (1905/1908-1990) known locally as "the Mayor of Bear Cove"; Mr Pedersen was a ship pilot and a renowned storyteller in southwestern Alaska where he lived most of his life.
