Description
Swift Creek is located on Kenai Peninsula flows SE to NE end of Kachemak Bay, 19 mi. NE of Homer, Cook Inlet Low.
History
Local name reported by Grant and Higgins (1913, pl. 2), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Probably so named because of the sharp stream gradient which would create a fast flowin g stream.
