Description
Ice Valley is located in Glacier Bay National Monument, 3 mi. E of Tidal Inlet and 57 mi. NW of Hoonah, St. Elias Mts. 1.5 miles long.
History
Named in 1947 by the American Geographical Society; this valley was formerly occupied by Dying Glacier and still contains some stagnant ice.
