Davis Creek is located between Kanalku and Mitchell Bays, 5 mi. E of Angoon, on W central Admiralty I., Alex. Arch.
History
Named in 1869 by Commander R. W. Meade, U.S. Navy (USN), for General Jefferson C. Davis, USA, in command of the military district of Alaska. The name was published in 1869 on Hydrographic Chart 225.
