Bryant Point is located at junction of Davis Creek and Lighter Creek, on Admiralty I., 6 mi. E of Angoon, Alex. Arch.
History
Named in 1869 by Commander R. W. Meade, U.S. Navy (USN), for Captain Charles Bryant, who for several years was an agent of the U.S. Treasury Dept. on the Pribilof Islands. The name was published in 1881 on U.S. Hydrographic Chart 882. The name does not appear on recent maps.
