Description
Station Island is located in Lynn Canal, near mouth of Funte Bay, 0.8 mi. SW of Clear Point and and 19 mi. SW of Juneau, Alex. Arch.
History
Named in 1890 by Lieutenant Commander H. B. Mansfield, U.S. Navy (USN), and published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in the 1891 Coast Pilot (p. 161).
