Star Rock is located in Funter Bay, on Mansfield Peninsula, 0.3 mi. S of Funter and 18 mi. SW of Juneau, Alex. Arch.
History
Named in 1890 by Lieutenant Commander H. B. Mansfield, U.S. Navy (USN), and published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in the 1891 Coast Pilot (p. 162).
