Description
Coot Cove is located in Funter Bay on Mansfield Peninsula, 0.7 mi. N of Clear Point and 18 mi. WSW of Juneau, Alex. Arch. 0.4 mile wide.

Named in 1890 by Lieutenant Commander H. B. Mansfield, U.S. Navy (USN), and published in the 1891 Coast Pilot (p. 161).
