Naked Island is located in Lynn Canal, 1.3 mi. NW of Clear Point on Mansfield Peninsula and 19 mi. SW of Juneau, Alex. Arch.
History
Descriptive name given in 1890 by Lieutenant Commander H. B. Mansfield, U.S. Navy (USN), and published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in the 1883 Coast Pilot (p. 161).
