Toyatte Glacier is located in Glacier Bay National Monument, trends to Johns Hopkins Inlet 5.5 mi. NE of Johns Hopkins Glcaier, 80 mi. NW of Hoonah, St. Elias Mts.

History

Named by Muir (1915, p. 204) for Toyatte, a chief of the Stickeen Indians, who accompained him in 1879 and who was killed while attempting to quell a riot between the Taku and Stickeen Indians, described by Muir in Travels in Alaska."
