Description
Point Carolus is located at W entrance to Glacier Bay, in Glacier Bay National Monument, 4.5 mi. W of Point Gustavus and 29 mi. NW of Hoonah, St. Elias Mts.
History
Named by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1879; published in the 1883 Coast Pilot (p. 188) as Point Carolus.
