Description
Rush Point is located on W shore of Glacier Bay, in Glacier Bay National Monument, 0.6 mi. N of Ripple Cove, 34 mi. NW of hoonah, St. Elias Mts.
History
So named in 1892 by Reid (1896, p. 424) 1SGS, "because there is a ceaseless rush of tidal water flowing past the point."
