Description
Located 1.6 km (1 mi) south of the community of Chatfield, and 3.7 km (2.3 mi) east of Mosier.
History
Named for the Chatfield family which lived near the summit in the early 20th century. Roy Chatfield served as manager of the Mosier Fruit Growers Association from 1911 to 1952. The family donated its land to the State for the creation of Memaloose State Park.
