Description
Cutoff Slough is located anabranch, on S side of Treat i., flows SW to Koyukuk River, 24 mi. NE of Roundabout Mtn., Koyukuk Low. 28 miles long.
History
River pilots name reported by Lieutenant B. H. Camden, U.S. Revenue-Cutter Service (USRCS), so called because it was thought to be considerably shorter than the main channel (Cantwell, 1904, p. 243).
