History
Riverboat name reported in 1900 by Lieutenant B. H. Camden U.S. Revenue-Cutter Service (USRCS). This may be the same island Lieutenant H. T. Allen, USA, in 1885 called "Dall Island" for W. H. Dall, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS).
