Description
Osier Island is located in Disenchantment Bay, at mouth of Russell Fiord, 32 mi. NE of Yakutat, St. Elias Mts.
History
Named in 1891 by Russell (1892, p. 84) because "it is covered with a dense growth of willows." Osier is a name for various willos.
