Description
Calahonda Creek is located heads in a glacier and flows NW to Disenchantment Bay 3.6 mi. NE of Point Latouche and 28 mi. NNE of Yakutat, St. Elias Mts. 6.5 miles long.
History
Named "Cala Honda" meaning "deep creek," on July 3, 1791, by Captain Alessandro Malaspina, "because at its mouth no bottom was found at 120 fathoms."
