Description
Pocket Island is located at S end of Frederick Sound, 17 mi. SE of Petersburg, Coast Mts. 1.5 miles long.
History
Named in 1887 by Lieutenant Commander C.M. Thomas, U.S. Navy (USN), for charting name published in 1888 on US@C&GS Chart 705.
