Description

Dry Island is located at S end of Frederick Sound, 20 mi. SE of Petersburg and 12 mi. NW of Wrangell, Coast Mts. 6 miles long.

History

Named in 1887 by Lieutenant Commander C. M. Thomas, U.S. Navy (USN).
