Glacier Gap is located in Amphitheater Mts., S of Sevenmile Lake and 25 mi. NW of Paxson, Alaska Range
History
So named in 1955 by T. L. Pewe, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), because a massive glacier once moved through this feature giving "its present topographic expression."
