Description
Little Wrangell Island is located in Biorka Channel, S of Wrangell I. and E of Biorka I., 4.5 mi. WNW of Goddard, Alex. Arch.
History
This island was named in 1809 by the Russian navigator, Ivan Vasiliev the first; Lieutenant Sarichev (1826, map 19) Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), published the name as "O(strov) Mal(yy) Vrangel," or "Little Wrangell Island."
