History
Translation in 1929 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) of the name given in 1809 by the navigator Ivan Vasiliev the first, Imperial Russian Navy (IRN). Lieutenant Sarichev (1826, map 19), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), published it as "O(strov) Dushistoy."
