Piehle Passage is located at N end of Khaz Peninsula, 9.5 mi. SSE of Chichagof, on W coast of Chichagof I., Alex. Arch.
History
Local name published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in the 1927 Coast Pilot Suppl. (p. 18) as "Piebles Passage". The passage was reported in 1919 as "Hole in the Wall by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
