Khaz Head is located on N tip of Khaz Peninsula, 9.5 mi. SSE of Chichagof, on W coast of Chichagof I., Alex. Arch.
History
Named in 1897 by Lieutenant Commander E. K. Moore, U.S. Navy (USN); published by the US@C&GS in 1901 Coast Pilot (p. 199). The name is derived from Khaz Bay.
