Khaz Point is located on NW coast of Khaz Peninsula, 11.5 mi. SSE of Chichagof, on W coast of Chichagof I., Alex. Arch.
History
Named in 1897 by Lieutenant Commander E. K. Moore, U.S. Navy (USN), published by US@C&GS in the 1901 Coast Pilot (p. 198). It was probably named for Khaz Bay.
