Kakul Rock is located between Kakul Narrows and Salisbury Sound, off NW coast of Baranof I., Alex. Arch.
History
Named in 1896 by Lieutenant Commander E. K. Moore, U.S. Navy (USN); published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1901 Coast Pilot (p. 192). The name was derived from nearby Kakul Point.
