Lively Islands is located in Tlevak Strait, NE of Dall I., Alex. Arch.
History
Named in 1882 by W. H. Dall, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), for the steam launch Lively of the Coast Survey steamer Hassler. These islands were called "Voorhees Isles" by Sheldon Jackson in 1880.
