Description
Dunbar Inlet is located extends NE off Tlerak Strait on W coast of Sukkwan I., 30 mi. SE of Craig, Alex. Arch. 2.7 miles long.
History
Named in 1882 by W. H. Dall, US@C&GS, "for Miss Margarat J. Dunbar, of Steubenville, Ohio, who began missionary work in Alaska in 1879" (Jackson, 1880, p. 375).
