Description
Flows northwest to Ekaluakat River, southeast of its junction with Egaksrak River, 19 miles west of Demarcation Point, Arctic Plain.
History
Eskimo name recorded on Barter Island in 1952 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) and refers to a kind of tuber used for food.
