Description
Heads on the north slope of the Brooks Range, Romanzof Mountains at 690300N, 1432600W, and flows N and NW to Beaufort Lagoon, W of Egaksrak River, 22 mi. NW of Demarcation Point, Arctic Plain. 75 miles long.
History
Eskimo name, Aichillik, recorded in 1918 by Leffingwell (1919, p. 93) who wrote spelled Aitshillik by Jenness.
