Description
Heads on the N slope of the Brooks Range, flowing N to the Egaksrak River, 20 mi. NW of Demarcation Point, Arctic Plain. 28 miles long.
History
Eskimo name reported by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1948, to mean "small fish place."
