Description
McDonald Creek is located flows SE to Nome River, 5 mi. E of Nome, Seward Peninsula High.
History
Prospectors' name reported in 1900 by E. C. Barnard (in Brooks and others, 1901, pl. 17), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). This stream may have been named for "Alex" McDonald, who claimed Polte Gulch on Cripple Creek.
